The final part of the route follows the River Ouzel, through Ouzel Valley Park concluding at Caldecotte Lake. Turning south you’ll pass through Great Linford Manor Park and join the Grand Union Canal to Willen Lake and onto Campbell Park where you will discover many pieces of artwork and one of the best viewing points in Milton Keynes.
You’ll be introduced to the famous concrete cows as you make your way up through the North Loughton Valley and to the edge of Linford Lakes Nature Reserve. Starting in one of our semi-ancient woodlands, Howe Park Wood the 25-mile route guides you through the Tattenhoe Valley, to Furzton Lake and along the Loughton Valley and on to Lodge Lake. However, don’t feel daunted, you can split the route over several days if you prefer.
